Rules:1) Be courteous and respectful towards others. IE: Don't pick fights with other members just to entertain yourself. Discussions and disagreements will happen, just try to avoid petty name calling. 2) Do not post foul or suggestive (explicit) language in your posts. There are (or will be) minors visiting the site. 3) Do not link to adult sites or post images with adult content on the boards.Links should be rated and warnings posted if you are linking to a story geared towards a mature audience. I don't intend to add any other rules unless something crops up later down the road that needs to be resolved. Violations of the rules will be dealt with on a case by case basis and will result in one of three actions depending on the severity of the breach: Minor infractions: one (or more) warnings given via PM or a temporary ban of the individual causing the problem. Major infractions: temporary or permanent ban depending on which rule was broken. May also include revoking membership. Repeat offenders: depending on the rules in question, will have their membership revoked and banned permanently. If you have any questions or comments regarding the rules, please visit the Comments & Questions Thread or feel free to contact me via PM or email. If you have any suggestions for additional rules you think are needed, or if you think some of the rules need to be worded a bit differently, you can post your requests in the Suggestion Box. Reporting a Breach of the Rules
In the event that one members feels that one or more members have broken the rules listed above, and it does not appear that any of the staff or admin have addressed the issue, you may bring the breach to our attention by PMing the following information to the admin or staff:
Name of the member (or members) involved. Link to the thread in question. And a brief summary of the problem.
If you have received a threatening or inappropriate PM or e-mail from another member, please immediately contact the admin and forward said PM so that we can address the issue as quickly as possible.
Those members found to be harassing another member, either publicly in the forums or privately through PMs and E-mails, will have their memberships revoked and banned permanently from the site.
All members will be given equal consideration and be allowed to explain their side of the story before any action is taken. HOWEVER, if during the investigation a member threatens or tries to pick a fight with any staff member or non-staff member involved, immediate action will be taken to prevent the situation from escalating. In other words, don't take your anger and frustration out on the person trying to find a solution to the problem - doing so will see you being booted and or banned from the site.
